Instead of dumbing down a ghoul like it does a human and making them aggressive, it stabilizes their minds and makes them aggressive? He takes it right before fighting Maximus in the Power Armor.

I never played the games. I'm an old man, so I was playing video games back when Atari and Nintendo were huge. So I was more of a Frogger guy than any of these new games that have these vast backstories and lore. But I'm loving the show! The games must've been amazing though! I hope we get a season 2 of this show now, I'm totally invested in this show now.

I wonder if Howard has ever seen or fought any of the Master's army during the events of the original Fallout. Or the Enclave and Frank Horrigen, during the events of Fallout 2. When the Enclave were at the height of their military power. Howard would be even more badass than he already is if he did. And there's the possibility that Howard would think they MIGHT have answers to where his family is.

Do some light research. Coop character is made to be like old cowboy screen star, and former marine, Audie Murphy. That, and the time period of tge songs we hear easily confirm this. Fallout alternate timeline is placed in a world where WW2 ended a bit differently, but with same 'characters'.

You make some jumps here. He could have been in the military, and might have met his girl during initial training. He would have gone through power armor pilot training separately from his standard training. So, he could have been a soldier, and he was in a leadership role, which means he was probably senior in experience, and really power armor would be great just comms wise while you fight and maneuver. So, he could have met his woman during basic while on pass, they hit it off as often happens when you are an young warrior, probably got married when it came time for him to transfer to either his permanent assignment base or directly to the front line. And he did well, because he was a country boy, so he was already used to hard work, being quiet, shooting, tracking, skinning....
